Author Topic: Do you capitalize and/or punctuate your sentences on the forum?  (Read 2927 times)

as for me, usually only when I'm being serious do I capitalize and punctuate, otherwise why should I

go

not unless I'm typing in mla format or my phone does it automatically

nope

i have my moments though, like when i talk to sir dooble

not really
maybe sometimes, though

not usually unless it's one of those rare occasions when i feel like typing properly

Serious, and professional.

Serious, but casual

casual

casul guys dankmems passive aggressive lol xd weed <-(Don't be this guy)

usually i wont unless im typing something fairly long, then it kinda needs it to be readable at all

It has to do with how serious I am in my post I guess. I'm not a very serious person though so many of my posts aren't capitalized. :cookieMonster:
It's not that I don't care enough when I'm not serious, it's just how I do things. I even un-capitalize when my phone wants to auto capitalize.

I always use capitalization, punctuation, and grammar, regardless of context.

I used to.
and then Maxwell came along

as of my recent posts, i'd have to go with yes
but sometimes, like this post, i'll just type the way i'm typing now

It depends. Sometimes I feel like being grammatically/mechanically correct and sometimes I don't. I never comma splice though; I always either use periods, semicolons, or em dashes.

On forums, yeah. Otherwise, usually no.

only when im srs

when i talk to friends on facebook or whatever I rarely ever use punctuation, though my iphone usually corrects my grammar and punctuation for me anyway lol

I don't know why, but I've just gotten use to typing in a formal format.

Also, weird note, I strangely type especially neat when I'm frustrated or angry, sometimes.
