Airsoft is more of a tactical gameplay while paintball is more of just slinging paint. The way they're played is very different.

I switched from paintball to airsoft because I like the feeling of tacticality and actual team based gameplay in an artificial enviorment.
Instead of just saying "DORITO TWO, DORITO TWO, NO NO NO BACK TO LEDGE THREE, WAIT GUYS I SEE A GUY BEHIND BOX ONE".

Saved up enough money to buy a full metal polar star and now im having fun on the weekends.

also I've played a game of paintball before. pretty fun.

I like airsoft because the guns look realistic and it doesn't feel like I have 2 pounds of dead weight on the back and top of the gun. Also, MUCH more maneuverability.

Well, you just have to see it from our perspective. We play paintball because it is a sport birthed of pure fun. When we see a whole bunch of faux-tactical 10-15 year olds shooting tiny pieces of plastic at each other out of a literal pea shooter that just makes a tiny little click, while still acting like they're a cool badass, it's hard to resist.

I know people have already said there bit on this, but holy stuff, you are literally complaining about someone using a projectile firing object because your projectile firing object is better.

idk man some airsoft guns shoot hot as forget and a small plastic ball is going to focus a lot of pain into a precise area, whereas a paintball is bigger and more spread out
not taking stuff about paintball tho, im p sure they hurt like forget too
