No you can't use American express prepaid gift cards to buy it. My freind tried a few weeks ago and it didn't work so he call American Express customer support and they said PayPal doesn't take American Express gift cards.

You should be able to use the gift card to purchase a money order at a post office, so yes, it works.

Just purchase a $19.95 money order, and mail it to:

and include your email address in the envelope.

If you got it from simon mall, you have to register it online at www.simon.com/giftcard

Visa gift cards work with Paypal. I personally use one of my own.
