Author Topic: The First Public Solicitory Forum of the Council of Rai  (Read 7162 times)

A call is issued throughout the realms. To each clan that pledges allegiance to the true King of the lands of Rai, they may send forth a representative to act on behalf of their region, creating local decrees and giving input on kingdom-wide decrees as well.

The King is looking for only the best and the brightest to form his Council. To assist him in his interviewing process is his manservant, Stewart. In the council chamber, the menacing Rouge watches from the corner, ready to quickly dispatch any trouble makers.

Who dares think themselves worthy of the task of administering a region under the authority of His Supreme Monarch?
Who will join the Council of Rai?

Well, forget you too, Mr. Rouge.

nvm

I come from the land of Ceiviel. It is a land that contains plains, with great farmland. Fiefs are long distances apart from eachother. I train the knights well, they are among the best fighters in the land.

nvm

Stewart whispers to the King that this isn't going so well. The King doesn't appreciate insubordination and makes a note to order some extra lashings upon Stewart at a later time.

In the confusion it seems the front half of your torso was clipped out of frame. It is quite an unfortunate loss and Stewart claims he will make sure it doesn't happen again.

oh stuff can i still be apart of this

The Council graciously welcomes BlockGuy II of Ceiviel.
The King expresses his sympathy over the recent passing of the previous ruler of Ceiviel, but lets face it we are here to get down to business. Your father said something about knights. How many troops can you pledge in defense of this nation, and how much food can you supply to the kingdom?

My liege, in defense of this kingdom, I can supply around 300 troops. 150 cavalry, 50 archers, and the rest are dismounted knights. My land is great for farming, so if you are in need of food I am able to come to your aid. We have an abundance of wheat, corn, and beans. We also herd cattle, so we have a small supply of beef.

If 300 is too OP, i can bring it down.

Hail, Supreme Monarch!

I come from the lands of Purpdrankia. We have many good pikemen and vast fields of bulbous sugar-spheres. I am here to pledge my land's allegiance to thee.

It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot. King of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of all England! I have come to seek admission into this oh holy of inner circles.

Hail, Supreme Monarch!

The council welcomes Cypher the Tenth from this new land and welcomes their proposed resources. Soon we should have enough members to begin our first official session.

It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon...

The council applauds the wisdom of King Arthur and his decision to join what would likely be a profitable venture for all kingdoms involved.
