Author Topic: Is my laptop good enough for hosting?  (Read 943 times)

I am expecting a no, but if it is that will just be all the more convenient.

To clarify, I am going to run the "portable" version of blockland from a flash drive, so the disk speed won't be an issue.

idk but if it is, what would u host?

It was on topic since you said you would host a pirate server. Pirates say arrg! everyone knows that (yes, electrk does know that).

This topic is about if I can host, not what will I host.

Your post did not answer my original question in any way.

SBG, your post was not needed.

No, like Kishgal said, it's not good enough. Sorry.

Yes, it will probably be fine.

I host my 28-player Trench CTF on a server with a 2.6Ghz single-core processor and 512Mb RAM. Reduce the max player count until it doesn't lag.
