Ports Forwading - plz help

I cant forwad them because when im enterin my ip into the browser there comes a popup where i should enter my name and password of my internet, i don't know both of them and so i cant forwad them! That's making me sad... i asked my dad he also dont know the name and pw of the internet... i have a ZyXEL ADSL PRESTIE 600 SERIES (ATTENTION : THIS IS NOT A W-LAN ROUTER)

Does it ask for just a password or both?

If only the password, try the default of "1234".

If there is a username, try a blank one or "admin" or "administrator".

there comes both and i tried both and nothing worked.

Are you sure of the model? The Prestige 600 seems to be an ADSL modem.

If there is nothing between the modem and the computer, you shouldn't need to port forward.

well i cant host in blockland its always dead, but i can host on gmod 9 and some other games :-/

Try 'password' for the password. I remember that being used once.

Just a note, whether or not you are on Vista does NOT affect port forwarding, it's just a little different.
