Unable to fix "Authenticating..."

So I've been having this issue for over a year and been unable to fix it. No amount of updates or anything have brought a solution. I've emailed for help, forwarded my ports, tried turning off my firewall, changed routers and router settings, run as admin, etc, etc, but nothing has solved the issue. I'm hoping someone can FINALLY help me resolve this issue.

Whenever I start up Blockland.

The game runs fine, but I just stay stuck at the main menu, waiting for it to authenticate my key.

Did you bought blockland on steam or the website? If you bought blockland on the website then you can use the non steam version of blockland found on the main website. http://blockland.us

That means your internet is not the issue here. Have you tried launching without any add-ons? Or re-installing?

I've got a completely clean build. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, primarily on steam.

Just to ensure I covered my bases I just went in and deleted my add-ons folder and launched it. Didn't fix it.

After starting Blockland, try opening the console with the tilde key (~) and enter auth_Init_Client();
