i imagine a crack team of whoever-the-forgets would come together to make an unofficial sequel

i've found many other games that suit me just fine, so it won't be a big problem for me... atleast right now....

go back to roblox

Eh I don't doubt the first part, but they would likely just fall through before releasing anything.

Still join the forums and spend my day hitting F5 for new replies.

I would play by myself/lan party until a new master server goes up.

It's not about Blockland shutting down or dying "Let's just bring it back up" - it's the issue of keeping the community alive and knowledgeable of it being forgeted up. If Blockland dies that means that the community no longer has a common mean of meeting up & discussions - the Blockland Forums would be gone, and the master server likewise. In that context, even by setting up a new community with a custom master server & stuff like that, unless Badspot agrees on a last stand to link everyone to the community-driven game, it's guaranteed that pretty much the entire community will not even know what's going on, or about the new forum/master server. Considering the forum & community activity I'd say only about 500 players at most would be knowledgeable of the "new" game in a best case scenario.

lucky it hasnt shut down yet.

I would give it a week.
