Officers are authorized to use lethal force if the criminal exhibits acts of violence or attempts to evade arrest

This man attempted both

No stuff he is gonna be shot

Regarding lethal force,
Reasonable force != excessive force.

He was running away, that doesn't call for a an unloaded clip. There was no attempt at a neutralizing shot and one of the bullets narrowly missed the back of the guy's head.

I am not a trained officer and I could have handled that situation far better. Also note that the cop forgets with the crime scene before the video ends.

It happens to everyone including people like soldiers.
Soldiers aren't similar to cops just because they also handle guns. They are in life-or-death situations in very short intervals of time frequently. It's a completely different experience for them.

The whole adrenaline rush thing seems practical until you just apply that to any situation.

By your logic it was also okay for the man to run away because it was a split second decision and being shot once or twice or three times didn't cause him to stop because of the adrenaline in his body.

Regardless of whether or not a guy is a cop, if he is carrying a weapon, you generally dont forget with him. Cops are trained to shoot for center mass to incapacitate a target. I'm not saying the guy deserved to be shot, but it should be common sense to comply with the police, not put your hands on an officer, and not try to run away.

The video shows a clear case of a bad cop, nothing more, nothing less. He's getting his just desserts for shooting an unarmed fleeing guy to death.

If you want there to be something more to it than that, then you're just as bad as the news stations trying to perpetuate this as a race issue

Do you have any idea how incredibly scary it is to perform a traffic stop? At least a soldier will usually know when they're life is in danger.

Key word being fleeing

Why would be run away unless he was already I deep?

Like I said lethal force is authorized for resisting arrest

i dislike anyone else that is white because... i don't really know. i don't have a reason to hate, but i just do. i'm cool with the ones who act like white people not like their own race.
grats on proving you are really stupid

basically
like you can't argue that it's necessary to shoot a dude 8 times

"Well, we should obviously ban guns and stop importation of guns and stop manufacturing guns and strip police of their guns and give black people guns to defend themselves of police."
This is how people react to this stupid stuff nowadays. If you don't want to get gunned down, stop loving fleeing if a cop pulls you over or something. I'd rather get a $125 dollar fine instead of losing my loving life. The black guy brought it upon himself, the loving dumbass.

I don't rightly know why the forget he would run, but that doesn't really justify unloading a clip in the back of an unarmed man, does it?

Oh so that's why the officer is being investigated for murder. I guess I just didn't understand how the legal system works :y

while I don't think it was right to shoot him, he did try to get the stun gun
and he ran
so he was in the wrong, too

By running away that gives reason to believe he could be wanted

Cops must assume the worst as it could be anything from petty theft to serial killings

They are trained to keep the streets safe and if they have to send some idiot to their grave then it is a needed sacrifice

hmmmm....i wonder why youre socially awkward....

it's not like i flaunt that stuff. it's just the idea in my head, nobody knows about that stuff other than on here.

Are you really this stupid, or are you just being edgy?
