Help I'm confused

did you try switching it off and then on again

What do you mean by disks?

Is there any cables disconnected? This happened to me my disk drive had power but I didn't plug in all the other cables for it

What do you mean by disks?
maybe he means trying to put a disk in the drive won't read the disk

Sorry for asking questions, but the OP literally gave no information.

also did you try asking it nicely

You didn't unplug the sata cable from the disc drive did yee
also be sure that your disc reader can actually read data from the type of disc you are feeding it, not all drives will read all disc types

sacrifice a virgin to satan if all else fails (I suggest XR7)

Yes this is what's happening. I was in a hurry when I made the topic, so sorry for confusion towards my confusion.

I have a feeling the drive isn't enabled so I might check that.

EDIT:
I found booboo. Now I just need to figure out what the problem is

oooooh gurl u gots sum trouble shooting tah do

So I figured out what the problem is, but now I have a new problem. I don't know how to fix it.
Apparently something is wrong with the drive itself and its either being handicapped or its damaged. I hope its only the first and I can fix it.

UPDATE 2: Turns out its not the disk drive but the computer itself. I put in a brand new LG USB disk drive and that didn't work either.
So now I can no longer use disks and my IT has no idea whats going on either.

Maybe its a richard drive.

But seriously, just either A) Fix it. B) Live with it.

10/10 contribution, great help
