It's pretty much all there is to say. Laptops are way more expensive than desktops, I'd only get one if you travel a lot. Building a computer is really easy, all it is screwing things in and connecting wires even a little kid could do it. The
only way you could break it is if you're careless with the parts. There's a lot of nerds around the forums, they can help you out with a build if you want.
Also rule of thumb, never get a prebuilt desktop for gaming. They're either ridiculously underpowered or ridiculously overpriced, sometimes both.
If you're going for a laptop I'd say the lenovo y50 or y40. As I said many times I've heard many good things about them and they're a good price too.
