You know what really grinds my gears? People who have been taught something their
whole lives and refuse to accept the reality that maybe what they have been taught is just a lie. People who put their whole-hearted faith into what people tell them instead of experiencing things for themselves.
It's seriously just plain naive
Example: My parents said the moon is made of cheese, so it must be. Instead of researching this for myself I will just continue to believe the moon is made of cheese because someone else said so and I believe them.
Reailty: The moon is not made of cheese
Famous Example: My parents and the "law" tell me marijuana is bad
and causes cancer and kills you. It's illegal because it's a drug that kills!
Reailty: Marijuana alone has never caused a single death in recorded history.
Another Great Example: Television. Everyone seems to believe what they see on TV these days, might as well include the junk they read on the web, too.
