Homemade airguns megathread

But here this isn't about the airguns you buy online or at a store pre-made, this is about airguns that you have made yourself or not in a mass production scale. This also is about any airguns that shoot any range of projectile, not just pellets. Just post about the airguns you have made or ones you plan to make.

Also most states are lenient on homemade airguns, well not New Jersey or Rhode Island as airguns are classified as firearms over there.


For example here's mine that i usually shoot a 40psi (about 3 bar)

there are thousands upon thousands of ways to make an airguns. although for me it was a ball valve (pvc cpvc or metal), some sort of valve for the air inlet (for me it was a bike inner tube valve) and piping (pvc, cpvc or metal) and an endcap (pvc, cpvc or metal)

Not many people build their own pellet guns. I built one awhile back but I probably took it apart or sold it. It shot a .25 cal pellet at about 900fps iirc

I've never made one myself but someone I know made one hell of a potato cannon. Each time it was fired you could smell french fries.
It used the combustion chamber + Hairspray method. For a trigger he used a grill starter to create a spark in the combustion chamber.
