YouTube has a new look for the video player in currently in BETA

Apparently YouTube has decided to make a new theme for the video player, but it has not been published out to the public yet and can only be accessed through editing cookies.



To get this beta theme, you have to change the value of VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE to Q06SngRDTGA. The only way to get this is through a extension/plug-in that can edit cookies. EditThisCookie seems like the best one for Google Chrome as of right now.

Also yes, it works for those 360 angle videos as well.

p much seems like they're trying to make the browser player consistent with youtube on other platforms, which all have a p consistent style similar to this

As far as I know, it requires the HTML5 player being enabled.

i may be a just a not lawyer but isn't it rather a new skin or something? or does it have new functions n such like isn't the current one called html5 player or something thing thing
