Author Topic: Australia releases "no jab, no pay" policy  (Read 9394 times)

Lmao at all the people saying "muh rights" and "muh free choice."

Institutions put these things into effect so that they can protect you, your child, and those around you.  It's the same reason why safety procedures for any natural disaster exist.  If there's an earthquake and you say "I refuse to get under an object because I don't want to," and then get injured or killed by falling debris, the institution and taxpayers should not be held liable for your choice not to follow procedures to minimize harm to yourself.  That's exactly what's going on here.  Sure, you can remain ignorant if you want—that bubble is always an option, but what this law does is just say that taxpayers, institutions and insurance companies will not be made the victims of individuals' stupidity.  I don't see how anyone has to explain this; one would imagine that taking steps to protect oneself from harm would be hardly second-nature, but instinctual.

inb4 "oh no mcjobless is going to become autism!"

This is literally the only thing the Abbott Government has implemented which is actually good. If you're not going to loving care for your children, leave the goddam country.

People like General and Kansas are the problem. Ignore them and move on.

Lol read my first post on the thread like 4 pages ago.

But this is what I said... Everyone has some risk at having a reaction to the vaccine.
You're only reading like half of what I'm saying

Every "risk" is either so minor it's worth making a fuss over, a result of a medical condition (which you have excluded by saying "Even normal people have a risk..."), or "so rare it is hard to tell if they are caused by the vaccine"

Some people still have adverse effects even if not in the high risk category, and since no research can disprove that it's from the vaccine it should still be taken into account until proven otherwise.

I actually have no idea what you're talking about.

You would pay for it to if your child died, this isn't much about government ethics as someone's morale, and I would be devastated, I might kill myself.
????
I quoted you saying that you didn't want to debate because you asked me to tell you what I was referring to. Are you seriously this dumb?

"No jab, no pay"
I think they have something like that in Boston, too.

"no pay, no jab" would be appropriate for the mafia.

"no pay, no jab" would be appropriate for the mafia.
So they won't stab you if you don't pay? I think you mean "no pay, get jabbed"

he's referring to drugs ;)

Alright, I guess you lack the intelligence to follow along with a conversation that you started.

Have you ever posted in the IRL picture thread?
No? What?

you automatically assumed he was mad at you for an offhanded comment he made
That's the most reasonable conclusion to make, lol.

Will this really be effective? From what I've seen the biggest anti-vaccers are parents who are educated and financially solvent.
