In 2011/Year 11, my second last year of High School, I skipped the two exam weeks so that I could take a two week trip out to America. It was planned years in advance and everything, but meant I got to skip those exams (and probably scored higher marks with the averages as a result).
The best bit was that when I came back, there was 2 weeks of school holidays. So that was 4 weeks holidays total. Pretty sweet.
