Huge water main break where I live

we can't drink any tap water or take showers
stuff's like the purge
we have a filter that we put tap water in to drink from but the filter says it doesn't filter out sewage or whatever stuff could be in there, only lead and other particles
2 hour delay at school, probably gonna get cancelled because they are apparently EVACUATING HOSPITALS
and the water tower is EMPTY

Boy am i glad my house has its own well. Only disadvantage to that is if my power goes out the waters not gonna work.

depends on where you live

like if you're in some backwater african country? well water probably has aids or some stuff in it

but if you're in a place like alaska or virginia? basic debris filters can net you clean drinking water.

Where I live we desalinate water and it is distributed through short distances so little to no chlorine is added
