why do people have a problem with cursing in public

it puts into perspective, what type of facility you are in. Like, I was at a dentist office, with a family of like two 7 years olds, and the employee working at the counter was just cursing while talking to their friends. I said "Why are you cursing in front of this family? What would your boss think of this?"
She said "I own this place, so I suggest you don't question me."
I straight up said "Well maybe you should act like a better owner before you lose me, and all of my family/friends as customers."
And I walked out.
So yeah, cursing in public will make me want to choke a bitch.
