PICROSS
crappy op I know, it'd be cool if someone were to make a logo

What's a Picross?
A Picross (short for Picture Crossword) is a puzzle game where you have to use logical deduction and the hints given to you by the game to find a picture. When the game is started, players are given a grid with numbers along the left and top of the grid: these numbers, from left to right or top to bottom, show the groups of squares you should fill in on the grid, separated by at least one space. It's a bit hard to explain and understand, so I'll show you guys a brief tutorial on how it works.
Basic Gameplay Tips
Keep in mind: this game can be beaten entirely with logic alone, and no guesswork is required.

Current Picross:
3: ???

Past Puzzles
1: Letter N
2: ???

Submitting Puzzles
If you have a puzzle that you want to share here, go right ahead! I won't stop you, and I'll put it on the "Current Picross" thingy at the top. Also, the rules.

Rules
The rules are painfully simple and I'll be sad if you break them.
  • A player can choose five spaces on the grid to be marked and five spaces to be flagged (which protects them from being marked) This is for balancing purposes so no one player can solve the entire puzzle in one move.
  • When a square is flagged, it isn't guaranteed that it shouldn't be marked and that can throw you off, so be careful!
  • Make sure that your choices are backed up by logic and are most likely to be correct. There are a finite amount of mistakes (unseen) so don't randomly guess, as it can jeopardize the game!
  • Multiple people can pick a square on the grid to be marked, though that does nothing to increase the chances of it being correct.
  • After picking squares to be marked and flagged, you must wait until 4 other people make their choices before guessing a second time. Will be reinstated later.
  • Please use the coordinate system (row, column) when choosing squares.
  • Players can work together and provide hints on solving the puzzle.

And that's pretty much it! Sorry if this seems a bit rushed and stuff, I'm just trying to get this idea out.

well this is pretty easy to boot.
first, second and last columns are entirely black, and so is the middle row.

can we all just use the (row, column) coordinate system for it to be easier

mark (1, 1), (1, 2) and (1, 5)
flag (1, 3) and (1, 4), as well as (2, 4)

Sure, why not. That's how it's intended to be played anyway.

You have made no mistakes.

Also I updated the OP with some new rules so check em out.

Just realized I screwed something up, fixed it.

ha wait for 4 other people forget me no one else has even posted since

yeah that was kinda implying this would be popular but no

yeah that was kinda implying this would be popular but no
changed it, and removed that rule, so now you can post again i guess

flag (4,3), (5,3), (5,4)
literally every other remaining square has to be marked. fill three in, i guess

I'll save you the trouble of filling in every square soo

Bang! Picross complete, it's the letter N.

I'll post the next one when I get home from skool.

OP never came back from school

Consider yourselves mistaken!!!!

All new font, all new style, all new everything. Get started... whoever cares enough to play this.

alright so what do we know
the entire first two columns are black
the third row is 3 continuous, and the second and fourth rows are two chunks of two

mark (3,1), (3,2) and (3,3)
flag (3,4), (4,3) and (2,3)

the picross is actually the letter k by the way
i'm guessing the main reason people don't really play this is because collaborating is hardly even necessary given that a single person can solve them really quickly
