I am only one out of the many people that came to know Thorfin as a close friend and companion. Although I only knew him for a relatively short period of time compared to some, I came to see him in the same light that I do my closest friends, there was a time in which we hardly went a day without skyping for any less than 6 hours we talked about everything from how stuffty our day at work was, to how we could improve Blockland. I learned a lot from Thorfin, and he was always willing to help others if they were willing to learn, it is well known that he spent the majority of his time on the forums help section, instructing and walking people through both the mundane and the complex. My only regret is not getting to know Thorfin better, and not recognizing his depression sooner. My fondest memories of Thorfin are ones of mischievous terrorism, such as sailing across the sky in a flying speedboat with a SAM turret hanging off the back end, blasting any imposing f-18 out of the sky.
He was a friend, a teacher, a partner in crime, and he most certainly be missed dearly by all that came to know him.
Goodbye Thorfin, I will miss you greatly.
