I have 2 that are fairly active, I have the JonTron megathread which started out as just a "hey guys look at the new JonTron video" but then people told me to make a megathread so we didn't have a new thread every time there was a new video.

and I have the Smash Bros. megathread which I made because the owner of the last one was perma'd and the OP was really outdated.

Basically megathread = place to discuss the thing without there having to be 50 topics

that one is arguable. I'm not gonna explain the history of that thread (cus i cant remember anything specific rofl) but it's basically the same reason that I didn't include the desktop or PC threads, they were all made as successors to something else

well i mean the brony thread and furry thread are fandom megathreads like the anime one

so whats bad about it? is it the lack of info?

itt a thread guarenteed to warrant lots of activity around one topic

eg. furry megathread - there are quite a bit of furries here, theres p much a 50% chance that youll find one if you click on any topic

bad eg. transgender megathread - even though now theres actually a few here, its pretty unlikely that there would be enough to talk about.
