Why don't feminists fight for lets say equal jail time for the same crime, who gets custody, ect?

the thing about custody is that the man and the woman don't put the same amount of work into having a child. the guy didn't spend nine months with a frickin human being growing inside his body, nor did he spend several hours pushing it out of a pretty small hole in that body. so, in a case where there's no reason the woman would be an unfit mother, why would the father have equal rights to the kid, by default?

well it's a good loving thing they aren't key ideals, because people irl whom i would consider feminists (and generally people with feminist beliefs who arent tumblr-cigarettes or online richard-swishers) don't consider men to be the spawn of the devil.

im pretty sure people have been over the fact that this statistic is based off of what jobs women take, their career choices, and how often they ask for raises (etc. etc.) and not a conscious decision to pay women less that male cohorts for the same job. if you believe that stuff you are playing right into the hands of crusty politicians who dont actually give a forget about women's rights.if the feminists you speak of were not teenagers with no real skill for argument building, or an actual ability to avoid being manipulated into believing false stuff (see above) then i'd say you got it backwards. "real life feminists" are often as vanilla and basic as you can get, especially western/white-centric feminism. you hardly ever see any mention of anyone other that cisgendered white women and, again, misguided efforts for equality in real life. though they have more credibility, they are certainly not better than 'le feminational socialists' on the internet which is why so many people say it's flawed.

this argument is getting pretty old, if most of the key ideals in the movement are flawed the movement itself is flawed.

again speaking of western feminism here, some places need it so desperately that it's not worth criticizing.
