I need help with an internet connection

 I have recently bought Blockland and i need help with going online. I have cable, but im using a laptop so im not sure if that will change anything. Also, when i type in my validation key, it says at th bottom "Authenticating Key" but keeps doing that forever.
Any suggestions?

Oh, i forgot to say, at the beginning of the startup, it says at the bottom "Cannot resume or pause downloads yet"

Make sure windows firewall and whatever other security software you have is set to allow Blockland to connect to the internet.
