What could you possibly need to do with NPAPI to motivate you to stop using Chrome? It's being phased out left and right for a reason.

First of all there are still many web servers out there that support JavaScript and Silverlight. I can't even use my certification site anymore on chrome unless I enable the flags to do NPAPI support. It's annoying to start using another browser because why should I have to go through the tedious process of getting used to and setting up another browser. Think of the other users in the big picture who rely off of these services and the time and money it wastes for businesses who are using these on a daily basis. Either way it's annoying and my entire comp sci class is up in arms about them dropping support.

That's my point, nobody bought into it so the idea never caught on. It was pretty cool for what it was worth though. Anyways, rip.

Wait, what does that have to do with NetScape plugin support? JavaScript is something entirely different and Silverlight works fine.

Silverlight stops working after NPAPI support went down. Works when the flag is enabled.

JavaScript support also went down, I dunno about the correlation, if someone can clear it up that would be nice.
