Hey, I've had this idea set in my head for a while and I was wondering how people thought of it:

Basically, you know how there's that Blockland Movie night topic floating around? Well, would anyone be interested in A Swholli Movie Night? Where I livestream some goofy movies and make a commentary track as I watch? I'd of course have guests on- it'd be sort of like MST3K but less scripted jokes and more just me and some fellow film buffs discussing and brown townyzing stuff while you watch. Of course a chatroom would be included. It's sort of reminiscent to that time I did Swholloween Theater and riffed on Sleep Away Camp.

Let me know if anyone thinks that sounds interesting. Basically I'm just trying out different ways to interact with fans and also have fun doing it. If this doesn't work out I'll try something else like a podcast or something lol.

We can watch more modern movies but they have to be available legally.

Ultron isn't even on DVD yet, I don't think.

EDIT: These are just ones I picked based on how bad they sounded, I've not seen any of them (well, ok I've seen parts of The Great Escape, it's not that bad). Feel free to suggest a title (though it has to be available to stream on Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube) and I'll add it to the poll.

Ok, new plan! After having a good time over at the BLF Movie Night, I realized the best option would be to use a CyTube or a SyncTube to try and get the movies streaming to everyone (mostly for legal reasons).

As for the live commentary I'm thinking of perhaps using something like TeamSpeak to create a room where everyone can join and hear the audio. I'm not familiar, but is there a way I can create something like that where a user is automatically muted from the main call and only a select few will be heard? Of course doing that for simplicity of the conversation.

If that proves too complicated however, at least there's always the built in chat function of a sync website to fall back on.
