Why so much hate on Rps?

Ok so this topic is to kinda clear things up here,there's been a few drama topics flying around here and there Rps are STUPID,and also some on crystal the cat warrior,and some people have said we stole a school build specifically from Fun Girl,when actually its been flying around for ages before she even came to BL,now first of all,

crystal the cat warrior banned because of my username. Like, loving really? Does my loving username upset you that much to ban me

She usually bans you if it contains something like the following :
Racism,Feminism,Offensive,Ect...She will first warn you 2 times then make a ban

I host creative, thought-out server ideas, and this stuff shows up? I have no hate against roleplays, but seriously?

Ok so First the poster of this DID admit it was kinda stupid,but i just want to use it as an example,Role Plays are NOT hurting ANYONE,yes i HAVE noticed there's an uprising of these but there's still some other cool servers like Creative...if a little girl wants to roleplay LET HER  this is how people find fun in this game,that's the whole POINT of BL,you create a world and make some rules to have fun,this is why i LOVE what BadSpot has created And Finally i want to Restate my point,Roleplaying is fine AS LONG AS ITS GOOD,thank you for reading this VERY long post

They're uncreative and more often than not suffer from low-quality builds. It is extremely rare to see a server billed as a roleplay server with any actual roleplaying worth a damn going on.

Exactly. If you give people totally free reign and just tell them "roleplay," it's no wonder that it's gonna be a stuffshow.

i'm going to be a contrarian for absolutely no reason in particular and state meaningless nonsense by saying: "rps exist so people can be creative in a different sense, as a child pretends they're a pirate or plays with a dollhouse"

eh, let's get on track here:

the main problem with RPs nowadays is that their quality is, putting it bluntly, crap.

people join a (pulling out a random theme here) military RP expecting an at least decently thought out structure and a nice army-esc build. but then you suddenly find out that it's the most disorganized play group you've ever seen and the map is essentially Sirrus' Military Compound but with minor changes.

people also can't seem to find any original ideas that extend outside of Family RP or whatever's mainstream these days. stuff you not i once saw a sonic.exe RP.

as a result RP's got a really bad reputation and then the fun police comes by in some RP servers and starts throwing tear gas everywhere to ruin everyone's day. it's just a gigantic trainwreck.

I COMPLETELY agree on that,they require SOME creativeness in building,as well there ARE pretty good rps,including the Army rps and very rarely a GREAT LAB RP,what I'm trying to say is to NOT base all of this of of one host but however don't hate ALL the rps because of one person tripping up.

rps can be fun with friends and there's not really any reason to say they shouldn't exist because w/e people are having fun with the game

they just aren't compelling gameplay for people looking to play, well, to be frank, a game lol

YES EXACTLY,this is the beauty of Role Playing,there of coarse has to be SOMEWHAT of a creative build but people have a chance to be something their not like a pirate as you said,or a prince,or a magician. Role playing doesn't fit everyone of coarse but don't go crazy just shouting to the heavens you hate them
