Why did the orange block community hate Ephialtes and the Return to Blockland community?

Its not just that but a Version of TBM stole code from Blockland and would delete RTB if it was in the same folder as TBM.
In an effort to make TBM "better" they though they could be snesky enough to steal code from Blockland, but someone pointed it out and then there was a entire thread about stolen code being used.TBM Community also despised Blockland once it went retail and started spamming the forums telling people to use TBM because it was "free".TBM Creators also came onto here to "brag" about how their new version of the game will be better than Blockland and free, but that ended up in a stuff storm and they got ban hammered into oblivion.
I also remember aside from code being stolen, and the virus they used to delete rtb, there where legal issues, but I don't remember much of the details, hopefully another veteran former can shed some light on the legal issues.
