im not british, but after listening to so may mock the week episodes

i still dunno who i'd vote for

I don't think I like any of these parties
Except the ones that want independence from the UK or EU

ukip

ukip
i thought they just wanted independence from black people

Voted UKIP.
I did too.

But I feel like I should have voted Tory, because my constituency is on the edge of losing it's Lib Dem reps which we've had for decades.

If I vote UKIP (which I already have, because I voted about 2 weeks ago via Postal Vote), then that's one less vote for Tory.
And Lib Dem are already quite strong, so I might have wasted my vote a little bit.

I would prefer UKIP to Tory, but I would prefer Tory to Lib Dem.

Mock the Week isn't all that great for political insight. They're all there to get a laugh, and the easiest way is to just bash everybody and everything.

Have I Got News For You is probably a bit better, since it looks more directly at actual political happenings, but I find they tend to be at least a little bit favoursome to the left-wing than the right.
They certainly don't seem to like the Monarchy.

well of course, it's a comedy show.

Yeah, I'm just saying that they don't tend to give much praise ever.
While HIGNFY will usually still have postivie AND negative opinions, plus comedy. And they get actual politicians on, not just comedians.

I'm hoping for labour or SNP

Voting ends in an hour.
I know there likely aren't many UK 18+ registered voters here, but if there are and you haven't voted yet do it right now!
This is your chance to help decide how this country is going to be run for the next five years!

Wow it seems BLF is basically ukip supporters o.o

(Go blue)

tories are losers.

go labour partyyyyyyyyyy
(green party is cool too)

UK will not leave the EU in the foreseeable future even if UKIP get in.

UK will not leave the EU in the foreseeable future
We can dream.

But yeah, it's not likely.
Labour are definitely opposed to the idea, Lib Dem won't touch it, and the Tories just aren't likely.

UKIP's the only 'big' party interested in it, and they say they'll happily form a coallition with Conservatives if they can promise a referendum on EU membership.
But at the same time, UKIP says they'll also join with Labour if Labour promises it (provided Tories don't). Which is interesting given they're on opposite sides of the spectrum.

What disgusts me most about the whole thing though is that Tories are happier to bring in ANOTHER Scottish Referendum on Independence BEFORE an EU Referendum.
Despite the fact that the Scots have voted No to Independence, they'd give them another chance before letting the rest of the UK have their say on the EU.

I've been looking at the polls for weeks, and I believe that it will be a tie. Tories have more of a chance of winning though, especially since they have more seats in Parliament.

Live Stream Coverage.

Supposedly starts in about 4 minutes.
It won't be riveting television, by the way. It'll probably carry on until around 3/4am when final results are in, with possibly knowing the general result around 1-2am.
Then we'll likely know by the afternoon tomorrow if there's go be a coallition or a hung parliament.

I think that's roughly how long it took last time.

Big Ben has just struck 10.
Voting is now finished.

Exit Polls say;
Conservatives - 316 seats (+9) (Not a majority) (If Tory+Lib Dem forecast accurate, Coallition would create a majority)
Labour - 239 (-19)
SNP - 58 (58/59 Scottish seats)
Lib Dem - 10 (-47)
Plaid Cymru - 4 (+1)
UKIP - 2
Green - 2
