Yeah, out of all of them, AC1 is the most repetitive.
The pattern of things you have to do in the story missions in each city are basically the same.

I'm stuck between 2 and Brotherhood.
I think I liked most of Brotherhood more, but I missed having multiple cities as in 1/2.

Black Flag though probably comes in second place, just because I really really loved the ship-combat and such.
