Author Topic: Mouse Problems  (Read 573 times)

My brother has a slightly new HP laptop running on the Windows 8 OS. During game-play,
the player starts looking around in random directions as if the mouse were spazzing out. It's
extremely difficult to aim at something without being messed up or misguided. I tried
disabling the touchscreen and the touchpad, and still nothing. We've even tried it out
on a different mouse, wired and wireless. Any suggestions or ideas? Tell me if you need any
computer specs, thank you.

(he claims that he's only experienced this error on Blockland)

I play on Blockland on a laptop with a wireless mouse and I never encountered this problem. It's probably the laptop itself or the mouse your brother is using.

Yeah, most likely something internal because we've tried switching mouses.

I'm guessing you play other steam games that use ActiveX, which when you play Blockland it uses the old ActiveX, making it so when you move a little you spin constantly until you get the mouse right.

I've had this issue before, and I have windows 8.1, when I play tf2 or something that, the new ActiveX kicks in. Then when I play Blockland after that, I can't play it because it spins around on the screen constantly. I found a fix for this.

The itemSize means in what percent in your control panel of magnification. I use 125%.

The main problem is that you have to restart your computer after doing this. Which is why I play blockland first before any other games that use ActiveX.
