I'm trying to make the point that this statistic is from thin air. Blacks have equal opportunities aswell, luck just has it that they don't take advantage.

Right here.  What's pissing me off is that you're acting like the lamb here while you're generalizing a populous that you do not know personally and do not know for certain what their position is on the matter.

By this, it becomes less of a righteous cause and more of a malicious cause.  This statement here suggests the sentimentality of "We deserve better because the other group is the bad guy."  Whether they are or not the bad guy, suppose if this issue is somehow solved to where any racial group commands the same amount of respect, using generalizations like these will not take us there.  It will undermine a righteous cause, either taking it nowhere, not far enough, or too far.

Yes, you're right, but also wrong.  English is weird that way.  This implies that black lives matter as much as others, but also that black lives specially deserve something, excluding all the others, and by extention, that other lives do not deserve the same recognition.  Whether or not your intentions are righteous or not, if you said "All lives matter" right off the bat, it would say only that you believe in an equal society.  However, because you said the other, and generalized white people like that, I cannot recognize that.

2) What the constitution says and what unregulated people do are two separate things. Furthermore, a lot of what is in the constitution for many countries (Australia and America included) is very vague. There's no specifics about the treatment of black people, white people, asian people etc.
3) Well thank god that's not how society works. You have to work twice as hard because there are a huge amount of specialised people out there all going for the same jobs. Do you think it's fair we give people advantages because of meaningless characteristics? If I lost out on a writing job because the person who got it was female or because of their race and it had nothing to do with their actual ability or personality, I would be extremely loving livid since that's true unfair treatment.

It's not entirely false.  The absolutely flawless public school system happens to fund schools in unsavory neighborhoods less.   Because residents there cannot afford a private education, they are forced to settle for a low-quality education that does not allow them to compete as well in the job market.  While affirmative action once gave the underprivileged the ability to get into state schools (I don't know what is in use nowadays), their prior education may or may not have given them the ability to compete effectively with other students.  On top of this, there are also the usual financial problems that occurs with residents of these neighborhoods.

In America, we have tribal laws called racial quotas, where education institutions are required to have a certain amount of minorities to attend. It's not only unfair, but statistically, whites and Asians perform better academically in America than any other group.

MoltenKitten, you are not the only person in this country, your bading everything of of your life experience. Just to let you know, I am in a middle class black family and they are doing quite well. This doesn't mean that every other black person is doing well. Not every white person is either. There are way worst area that you probably never heard of in this country that there is a huge separation for blacks to whites. stuff, if you have seen the move "Dear White People" you should. Its not a tribal movie, it shows the black side of what happens on a daily basis. I cannot quite explain it to you. Theres also some facebook blogs you can follow like "The Anti-media" or some blogs on tumblr that bring out what wrong in this society involving race because I've said ill i can say to combat this. I cant explain myself any other way.

The #BlackLivesMatter thing was started because a large majority of the African american population in certain areas are being killed for stuff that is undeserving of death even though were a minority. I respect everyone cultures. I dont look down upon any race. And ive already said amillion time that im for everyone to have equal rights.
