Author Topic: Boston Bomber Dzhokar Tsarnaev Sentenced to Death  (Read 7545 times)

if a person thinks ending someone elses life is a reasonable thing to do then they should be treated the same.

therefore, the death sentence is ethical.

You plucked two posts out of a very long thread. Please read the following article and then try again:

lol k.

I'm not even liberal, I just value human life.

ironic considering you want to save the life of someone who has demonstrated his ability to murder people and who is fully capable of murdering other inmates

haha, good one! you made it seem like you were stupid enough to believe that my post was only directed and specifically targeted at you! that was a really funny joke, man.

oh, wait

Torture? No.

I'm all for the death sentence and I'm glad he got it, but torturing someone is not okay especially in a first world country. Just pump him up with cyanide and be done with it.

I don't think he is the one who is going to be doing the killing.

Fully capable of murdering other inmates? Do you have no idea how his jail sentence would work? He'd be isolated from other inmates almost completely, for the rest of his natural life.

It was directed at everyone who opposes the death penalty in this thread, no? I was just pointing out that not everyone who opposes the death penalty is a liberal.

What we do at Guantanomo Bay is classified as torture, but these people there have it coming. It's a great form of rehabilitation.

Jesus you are handicapped.

Hey guys.

8th Amendment.

No edit:

I'm not even liberal, I just value human life.
If you value human life you should recognize that one who terminates human life forfeits the right to life—It's more ethical sometimes to prevent one from living than to have many die by their hand.  IMO we need to reintroduce firing quads.  They're quick, painless and inexpensive.

I'm wont side with hippie "all human life is precious" dogma crap, some human life is worthless garbage. I totally agree with the death sentence as a controlled means of closure for victims, but I wont pretend it's a justice. I don't put enough faith in the judicial system to even remotely entertain the idea of torturing people.

Pretty much this. I don't want anyone here thinking i don't want him to be executed for his actions, i'm saying it would be wrong to TORTURE him.
