You're a constant source of cringe; perpetually posting the most insane, stupid statements to grace the Internet. You're like condensed version of Tumblr minus the memes, packaged for the Blockland Forums.

There's no malice in what I do, mate. It's a loving forum. Get used to people disagreeing with you. Especially when they aren't trying to push the bottom of the barrel further than it needs to go.

I don't care that you disagree with me. The reason why im responding like im responding is because you are coming at me in a negative way.

Please explain how what im saying is stupid.

I call edgelords autism all the time

You're an cigaretteautismogot.
cigaretteautismogots, roll out.

Please explain how what im saying is stupid.
Sure.

Its plan and simple. I see people throw around autism as an insult and it doesn't make since.
It wouldn't make "since" to anybody who can only accept words as their exclusive definition. The idea that language is literal is ridiculous. Words are given meaning by context, and if you don't understand the context, the word probably doesn't apply to your situation.

If you want to call some one stupid, just call them stupid.
Hyperbole is the Internet's greatest weapon. The idea is that people want you to know that you're not JUST stupid, but you're even stupider than that. For most people, the word "stupid" has lost its offensive nature and become nothing more than a childish insult. Using a word with a bit of sting gives it flavour.

It should be noted that when the word is used in context of an insult, it's usually used as a supplementary for the word "stupid". It sounds more powerful, but it means the same thing as the word it replaces. This is the whole "context" thing I keep mentioning in these kinds of threads.

Using a medical condition for an insult just inst right.
And misspelling 'isn't' as 'inst' is not?

Nobody here is disparaging the mentally modified. If we were acting in earnest and actually comparing idiots to autistic people, saying that autistic people and stupid people are the same, then you might have a case. That's not the context of how the word is being used, though, and you know that.

Furthermore, saying that we're not allowed to openly discuss actual, serious things that affect our society is far worse than any jokes leveraged at idiots that contain the words you're complaining about. Aside from the fact that comedy is mostly used to raise up serious points in our society so that we will consider and act on them, by using the word "autism" in place of "stupid", we're pushing society so that it becomes okay to talk about these kinds of things. Nobody is saying that autistic people are idiots; in fact, it's entirely medically-unfounded as autistic people tend to be brilliant minds. What we're doing is taking the stereotypical "bad" qualities of generic labels. It's just shorthand.

I won't say that gay jokes led to a lot of people accepting gay people, but I will argue that gay jokes have helped with opening people up to discussing homoloveuality in general, as opposed to just shutting it away and blocking it out of their lives.

Also, i see people using "gay" and "cigarette" as an insult which isnt a problem
Using a medical condition for an insult just inst right.
So, you are saying that being gay is okay, but having a serious medical condition is not?

unless your not homophobic and it isn't coming from a hateful place.
That's a double-standard. To say that comedy should only be reserved for the unbiased is a ridiculous and impossible notion. Everybody is biased and will hate something. We use comedy to defuse the hate and make fun of the things we disagree with. It's a lot more passive than shooting a bitch up, and it means that the hatred can be in turn used constructively, if there are actual logical reasons for the hatred hidden behind the humour.

The over all theme of this is know when an name is appropriate to use. Don't use an medical condition as a negative insult to others.
As a bona fide handicap, I don't expect you to understand a thing about context, but you might want to grab a pencil and write this down.

Jokes are about making fun (FUN: The process of learning about something; usually results with the reward of dopamine). Hyperbole is about making our language more exciting. Nobody here seriously thinks that in general handicaps or autistic people are bad people. All we're doing is using the English language as it was originally intended; to convey meaning based on context.

Here comes the post about how "you're not understanding what he's saying"

I called my dog autistic and he didn't seem upset.

Sure.

Honestly I got to lazy to read this lol. I read like the first 3 words and gave up because im lazy.

I think that what most people miss is that "autism" generally isn't used as a catch-all insult against people. It is actually used as the definition dictates. For example, if you say something sarcastically and someone mistakes it as literal, they are at risk for being called autistic because they've missed a social cue. This is valid inductive thinking in the form of signs. Missing social cues, a primary symptom of autism, is a sign of autism. There are many other signs of autism, but that is one. So the conclusion that a person is autistic because they've missed a social cue is actually a valid argument. It's probably not very strong, but from a philosophical standpoint it's a perfectly valid argument.
