There was no hard-to-diffuse situation going on in the csgo thread.

But there was on the very forum the csgo thread was posted on. When you have a couple people following your posts around trying to rile you up, the only two real 'correct' moves is to play it off with humor or ignore it.

I'm not about to justify anyone's behavior, I'm just laying down the truth as I see it

I hadn't seen the thread he mentioned in the csgo thread at the time. If he's said "thats in reference to the whatever thread where whatever is happening" that would have been it. He instead tried to make me shut up by threatening to take away my toys. Thats not how you deal with that kind of situation.
