What exactly do these people so that everyone else can't? Is the ability to play games and talk in a midly entertaining way deserving of pizza and action figures? Especially considering there's dozens of channels who do the exact same thing? Or could the spots go to people who have genuine talent and/or are original?

that's why stand-up comedy and drama and the entertainment industry in general are things that exist and are successful and profitable
