Firearm of the Day:
StG-44
Also known as the MP-44 the STG-44 can be classified as the first successful assault rifle. Firing the 7.92x33mm Kurz round the StG-44 was issued with the MP-40 in the Eastern theatre from 1943 to the end of WWII. The StG influenced designs ranging from the Russian AK-47 and the American M-16, if it wasn't for this rifle we may have never seen some of the most iconic rifles in history post-WWII

Rifles:
Rifles range from your old fashion Kentucky long rifles to modern day AK-12s. Rifles are called as such by the rifling in their barrels which put a spin on the projectile which increases range and accuracy.

The smallest class of firearms on this list. Generally firing smaller projectiles than a Rifle these firearms are very popular within the personal defense community for their concealability, light weight, and light recoil.
