Author Topic: Blockland Had A Seizure...  (Read 3050 times)

I was playing blockland with some guy, and suddenly this happens...

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

This happens when your client does not have an object that it is set to control. This can happen for many different reasons, but one of the more common ones would be your player being deleted without your client being given a new object to control.

So does that mean my problem was caused by respawn errors?

were you the host?
whoever was hosting or had access to the console could've done that to you

Yes. I was the host.

This has happened to me before, but it always happens with the facehugger playertype. I don't know how to fix it, but every single time this happens I'm the host.

you know,no one has answeared my question yet.

I should also mention I like changing text sizes and other things.

Lol this would happen to me and my friend when his computer would boot up sometimes, we would color the screen.

so what is causing it?
you haven't given us much to work off of
are the changing text sizes causing it?

no you cannot prevent it

there isnt any need to anyways because it happens very rarely

There is two VCE events that can do this, I'll show them below, hopefully this helps.
for admins, you can pess F7 to respawn, this goes away instantly. other players have to reconnect.

Onplayertouch - client - VCEmodvariable - health - set - -1
Onplayertouch - client - VCEmodvariable - -1 - set - health

Note; These events have to be together, this can only be done if VCE events are enabled on the server, and yes, ANYONE can do this.

Also, click to 'respawn' is disabled while these events are in use.

strange that the client health variable would do anything
