The reason that I brought that up is because the argument over 'rape culture' is what most people use to attack dress codes. The theory says that enforcing dress codes restricting loveually provocative clothing contributes to the idea that people blame women for becoming victims of rape. The entire concept is very shaky and makes no sense.
What a lot of people don't understand is that loveual arousal is something that's largely subconscious. When people say that dress codes should be abolished because men should 'choose not to look', they're basically ignoring the fact that men are biologically programmed to look. There's no scenario where really low-cut dresses aren't somewhat distracting, unless you aren't into women.

Playing devil's advocate here, the justification for calling people by their preferred pronouns is that they feel more comfortable that way. So we respect what makes someone feel more comfortable. Some people feel uncomfortable referring to people as different genders than their biological love. Why is their comfort less important than the person who transitioned? People should do as makes them most comfortable. So if you feel more comfortable referring to yourself as a she, refer to yourself as a she! Hopefully other people will feel comfortable with that too. But if people feel uncomfortable doing that, you should respect what makes them comfortable. Just as people who don't want to refer to people by their pronouns should respect what makes that person comfortable. People who demand that people go outside their comfort zone to refer to people by their desired pronoun are just as bad as people who refuse to call people by their desired pronoun.

People probably shouldn't. However, this article serves as a confidence boost to those who have the mentality of the opposite gender. Transgenders/transloveuals still face a ton of both blatant and passive oppression, and the Self Delete rate among them is absurdly high. Caitlyn Jenner serves the purpose of telling kids "hey, getting surgery to align your mind and body isn't a bad thing, look at this awesome person."

I didn't realize looking a girl/being attracted to a girl is being a pervert. Being a pervert is like spying on someone getting changed or something. Sure I suppose. I mean, I don't condone transgender operations but people can do whatever they want. I suffer great annoyance at all those people on social media who act like it's the best thing that's ever happened and going into in depth conversations with no idea what they're talking about. It might just be an irrational pet peeve of mine, call me sensible if you want.
