The only circlejerk I remember having a problem with was the furry-forgetfest where they all gave each other cutesy nicknames and infected innocent topics with their diseased inside jokes. Since then I haven't had much respect for self-acclaimed skype groups. If I'm not in it I don't see why I need to know it exists.

Although at the last part I don't agree with, the forum isn't getting meaner. It's actually a lot nicer place compared to 2010-2012

2008-2009 was really the age of jerks. Yeah there weren't bronies and furries, but fire and venom was the norm. 2010-2011 was a crazy time because the bronies were running around posted stuff everywhere making people mad, Miga left and Tony made himself a pariah, there was that house pets thing.

Things are better now, most of the stuffters were either left or banned. Others just changed.

Personally though, I have lots regrets from those times. Sure a lot those groups were intolerable in general, but a lot of those groups had some generally good people. Too much hostility.

2008-2009 was loving great imo. Most of the stuffty fandom people were run off the forum and thus by extension the forum was around 85% less autistic. If you ask me everything went down the stuffter in 2010 but maybe that was just because of the influx of bronies/furries
