xXkillercontrolXx's TDM server issues

So today I saw a server called "xXkillercontrolXx's Warehouse TDM", and decided to join. I saw that it had a few issues, some of them major; so I recorded a video about it:

To summarize the video:

-There are many explosive/flammable barrels in the map, but when you shoot them, the explosion is just an emitter, and it deals no actual damage - making them absolutely useless when killing people (which is the point of the server). It can also be shot and detonated as many times as you like, because it doesn't disappear or fake kill brick after exploding.

-It has that "spawn with a weak gun and rack up points with it to buy a decent one that everyone already has and kills you with it, easier than you kill them". In other words, you spawn with a very weak pistol, and you have to kill other players to get points used to buy better guns. The problem is that everyone already has a better weapon and can almost instakill you with them. Good luck getting kills against that.

-Finally, the map is so small that you can walk for a few seconds and reach the other team's spawn, and there is nothing preventing you from killing them the instant they exit. Admittedly, upon leaving the spawn you get 50 velocity in the direction you are facing, but that runs out within a second, and anyone standing in front of you can shoot at you regardless of how fast you are, because they are infront, and during the velocity boost, you cannot go left or right. By the time the boost is over, you are dead because most guns kill within a fraction of a second here.

In conclusion, the server needs serious work. There isn't really anything morally wrong with the host, but the server that he hosts is just terrible, and I would not advise joining it.

most deathmatch servers that aren't hosted by widely known people aren't really that good. there are some good ones that are obscure, but you're going to spend some time finding one.

So, I met xXkillercontrolXx on his server.  I managed to make him give everyone assault rifles by pissing him off.



And that's how the cookie crumbles.

P.S.  When I said "It's not hacks, it's the bullstuff progression system.", someone else was acusing another player of hacking.

why not t+t?

for something like this "progression system" t+t seems to work the best. gcat's raycast guns and other weapon packs aren't really that too expansive to make it work.

include the fact that Kidalex90 persuaded the host to make changes by forcing the unfair gameplay down his throat and you got a pretty incapable host.

lol man lets see here. I make a server, that has been expanded slowly since the first day i made it, and now is pretty damn big. You and Alex are the two, and only two people to come to my server to be mad about not starting with a "good gun" and stuff, I gave you a gun and you weren't happy with it. i don't see your server up, why is that?
I don't see the point in making a post in drama about this, if you dont like the server then stuff man don't come, but why do you see the need to make a thread about this all?

It's not just the build, he's complaining about the fact that you have to basically rely on luck to get kills in order to get any weapon that will stand a decent chance against their fully-upgraded weapons.

It's not just the build, he's complaining about the fact that you have to basically rely on luck to get kills in order to get any weapon that will stand a decent chance against their fully-upgraded weapons.

The think is, all this complaining has happened during the early stages of my server, where I was trying to get things sorted out. I tried using the bf3 pack for guns, as they show in the video, but that gun was clearly over powered AND I stated I would fix it I'm the next server restart, so I could get new guns in the meantime I told so many people "i will take those guns out next restart" and I know I told Alex or Lego at least once, I don't see how you can make a drama topic like this. This ramn tdm server has been up for about 5 days, give me time to sort stuff out before. stuff

other then that i understand that you just started hosting but knowing some criticism will help your server out in the long run. i don't know why you people mistaken Ipquarx's actions for just plain old bitching but there are some stuff that the host should take note of.
