TENTATIVE POST - CRITICISM WELCOME
1648. The grand continent of Europe has only just put down arms after the most devastating war in history at the time to have blazed across its borders; the horrifying Thirty Years' War brought an estimated 6 million people to their graves for what seems to have culminated in naught. The Holy Roman Empire has passed its peak as religion has torn it apart, and though it will last another century a half, Germany will never be the same again.
There is, however, light at the end of the tunnel. The Peace of Westphalia brought new nations to the forefront of Europe, such as Sweden, Switzerland, and the freshly-independent Netherlands. The treaty seems to have quelled the fire of religious zeal, at least for the time being, and the idea of Westphalian national sovereignty has taken root. The powers that be certainly seem to be war-weary. Of course, with Europe, you never know...

Please, if there are any others you'd like to see, let me know! I've got a huge pile of coats of arms made and ready to use. Currently planning on making at least some of the following: Switzerland, Bavaria, Saxony, Bohemia, Venice, Savoy, the Papal States, Tuscany, Ireland, and Scotland; which will I prioritize? (FYI: Non-Europe will probably not be playable.)
Also, if you have any tweaks or ideas for traits, do complain. I don't mind. (I'm already planning a change to Russia.)
