This story has really exploded all over social media, it's another one of those Ferguson-styled schemes to make police look like killers.

The public is extremely misinformed in regards to this man. Jose Velasco (the man being beaten) was high on meth at the time of the recording of the video, and he tried to push his mother into a moving vehicle. He resisted arrest, and that was why he was beaten. Serves this guy right, shame on these people portraying cops as killers.

>implying that it's okay to beat a man half to death because he resisted arrest

Hello, I've never said anywhere that it was ok for anyone to beat someone half to death. If you are able to read English, I think that you would of read the part where I mentioned the man being high on meth, and violently resisting arrest. Violently can mean that the man was using force against the officers, which is more than likely. I would take the police officers' word, much sooner than I would with a man high on meth.

police shouldn't be beating people near to death, they should be detaining them

but he was a violent, dangerous methhead who tried to kill his mom and grabbed a policeman's tazer, i can't really put this in the perspective of "innocent minority is beaten by evil cop"

and the racial arguments begin in 3...2...1...

If the man was black, why would that be relevant? This has nothing to do with civil rights. In any event, the man was Hispanic.

So if a man is threatening cops with a pistol, should they shoot him right in the stomach or should they verbally try to get him to  put the weapon away and risk the lives of those cops? Heck no, shoot the man, I don't care if he's dead.

I'm at a loss here, you replied and brought up race, so I responded to you appropriately. I am not sure why all of a sudden you are acting puzzled.

Is this even a question?
Should be obvious by now

schemes to make police look like killers.
what a fascinating theory

because i agreed with you

I see that, however you said "i can't really put this in the perspective of "innocent minority is beaten by evil cop". I don't think that has any place in this, the only one who even brought up race here was you, and the notion that cops are evil is just simply handicapped. The people who portray them to be evil are the ones who are really evil.
