The original voice actors were disappointed on their twitters. I wonder if they even asked them first or if they went straight for adding a "twist" which worked so well last time

But with Teen Titans Go, Tara Strong's especially active, she even did her Bubbles voice for Silky in that one episode with Killer Moth! Why didn't they at least get her?!

I'm hoping these VAs do a good job of sounding like their original ones...

yeah it was a special but its undeniable they won't use that style now that they've implemented it. after all, anything i try to look up on the reboot just comes up in the dance pantsed's style

but the reboot's been announced for a while. dates back to mid 2014.

i really do hope they stick to that cg style because the cartoons on CN have become so monotonous lately it's been bothering me

What's the issue here besides being butthurt that they will have new voices? Is there some sort of preview available to hear how they will be acting the characters or are we just flipping before we even know anything?

the only issue is that it wasn't really done with consent to the voice actors, not that they would have had any say, but it's kinda sad that they could do the job and wanted to, and they've been replaced.

ultimately it's not a huge issue and in no way a death knell for the new series, but it's just kinda a shame.
