I do not back down from anything I have said. I believe that all life has rights and that trying to avoid violation of them makes you a better person.

I don't even urge people not to eat meat. Go for it, I just don't agree. It seems like you guys have a hard time accepting a contradictory opinion.

But I'll be honest--it does piss me off that you guys are using bullstuff argument tactics based around "I can so I should".

You see thanks to the wondrous thing known as the food chain we are doing these animals a favor. By killing them their pain lasts only about 10 minutes. If we don't eat them something else will and that something else is alot messier. They might decide they are full and leave them alive for hours until the diseases kill it. If it was morally wrong to eat meat we would not have molars.

Because it does lol. There is a definite hierarchy in living things, and trying to say that animals aren't below humans is incredibly stupid and simpleminded. This is pretty much as close to objective as an opinion can be.
