Alright guys I can only clarify a post I made 15 pages ago a million loving times.

I believe it to be a morally conscious action to avoid eating meat, knowing the trauma animals go through in factories. I do not believe it makes you a bad person to eat meat, in the same way it does not make you a bad person to avoid donating to charity.

Now you can quote me saying "I am superior" out of context all you'd like. But it's been made blatantly obvious that I believe being a vegetarian to be a good character trait. There are good and bad meat eaters. There are good and bad vegetarians.

Being a vegetarian only makes you better than you were before. It does not make you better than someone who eats meat.

*note that morality is defined by a personal opinion

So why eat no meat at all?
why not eat free range since they're not raised in factories?

You may be evil--I don't know you--but meat consumption did not cause you to become evil if you are. So saying "evil meat eater" is irrelevant. Checkmate, little carnivore.

Alright lemme get serious for a minute to address this very good point. Free range  only means the animals aren't kept in cages. They could be kept in a huge pen with thousands of chicken stuffed together, which is even worse. Look for "free range with access to the outdoors" if you really want good for animals.

And no--if the system was perfect and kind there wouldn't be anything wrong with eating meat. But I've been so alienated from it that it doesn't even loon appealing. I don't have any urge to eat it.

i'd think being chased, tracked down, brutally murdered and eaten alive by a predator in the wild is much more traumatic than being killed in a factory.
