"pomf.se" taken down due to high server costs

I'm sorry to tell that Pomf.se has shut down. The costs for hosting Pomf.se have exceeded 650 EUR/month, and I cannot afford to go on any longer.

For clarification, all content uploaded prior to today remains available. All uploaded files are in the progress of being archived at the Internet Archive. Thanks to Archive Team for this effort.

I'm grateful for being able to offer Pomf.se for no cost for so long for users, but it's time to move on. I suggest to use a5.tf, MaxFile.ro, Love is Over, 1339.cf and imgcrush for file sharing needs.

imgur has recently done some terrible moves, promoted adverts on the front page, removal of NSFW images even though they had support for a NSFW block

if you really hate it that much there's literally an option to disable it in options if you get an account, plus by default things don't get compressed unless they're >1MB
