i want to paint it just because
help me design a paintjob for it that leaves some space so i can actually know how much water i have left inside

Whatever paint you go for, make sure you paint the tip of it red as to mark that it is not a real gun.

pretty simple, pretty basic. i'm not sure if it's not too basic, though.

i'm also considering slicing off half of that trigger and replacing it with a more Gun trigger

There actually is a reason every toy gun has a percise bright red tip so I'd advise against it.

like maybe a mountain dew paint job? lol
but if you're not gonna be covering up that green I don't know what would work with that
