I don't see how this differs from any other communication app except being centered around Blockland. At any rate, this was a terrible idea to open this topic without any progress or concept art that you've made or anything; all you've presented to us was an idea. Literally anyone can go and steal this idea from you and make it come to life before you can.

When you guys start attacking the OP not only are you harming the OP's ambition to develop himself but also possibilities for the community to develop.
This 'app' might not live up to be anything but if he does finish this he will have advanced himself and that may just open up a door for him to work on something else in the future that might actually benefit the community.

This. I do things like this all the time. Even if it doesn't work out or nobody uses it, it's still cool and is very good experience. Maybe announcing it before having much to show wasn't smart, but by all means I suggest you finish this.

Hey can you guys maybe not be richards at the thought of a user you don't like starting a project? This is a cool idea and if finished I would totally try it. How many large projects have you guys undertaken? How many were finished? I understand the OP has been unreliable in the past but it's not like it hurts you in anyway and honestly being richards only make progress less likely. I can guarantee if a user like DrenDran or Steve posted this everyone would be rallying in support.

DrenDran and steve make things people might actually want to use. Hell, not even that- They actually make things. The fact of the matter is that there is 0 reason to believe that this project is going to happen, and even if it did, there are tons of other, better alternatives.
