Well it looks obvious between whats 2D and cg, but it looks sorta fine.

it depends, really. sometimes they pull it off but it usually looks awful. lakewood plaza turbo's pilot had a pretty good use of it

also chowder didn't use 3D, but they did use a lot of claymation and stopmotion, and those looked beautiful

and the amazing world of gumball combines everything and it looks fantastic. except the first season. first season looked bad.

Well for movies anyway. They have (digital) 2D TV shows.
