Well, we're not gonna have a good day, are we? This article really shines some light onto why the US Police have been killing so many people.

not surprised by this at all to be honest. A lot of the police forces in the US seem to be sub-par. Not to say that all cops are bad, 99% arent, but the ones that are bad are really forgetin bad and something needs to be done.

AMERICA: BEST IN THE WORLD AT EVERYTHING

Read the article. Our laws on police violence just aren't specific enough.

Article only mentions the black shootings it seems. How quaint.

true, here's the ambiguity:

Quote
None of the laws establish the requirement that lethal force may only be used as a last resort with non-violent
means and less harmful means to be tried first. The vast majority of laws do not require officers to give a warning of their intent to use firearms.”

maybe i'm just paranoid, but i feel like that's a pretty noticeable and important vagueness

This is kind of misleading. The vast majority of police officers are good people who treat their job just as seriously as everyone else does.

The problem at hand with our current system is that the police who aren't doing a good job aren't being properly reprimanded for their behavior.

as an american, if hillary clinton becomes president, it's over completely.

Even loving Wyoming!?

just saw this http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2015/jun/01/the-counted-police-killings-us-database# as a related thing

I was looking through some of the people, and it seems like they were attacking the police
to return fire is completely respectable in my eyes, as the police were trying to defend themselves
shooting an unarmed person in the middle of nowhere is completely different, but trying to protect the general public from an armed threat is a good idea

the other high source of deaths were from officers shooting their wives
just why at that
